Photographic Services
Photo Shoots
Photo shoots of Centenary events can be requested by emailing . Depending on the usage, timeline and budget, photos may be taken by Office of Public Relations staff or by a contracted photographer. The Office of Public Relations will organize photo shoots based on priority and the availability of staff photographers. Time constraints may prevent some requests from being fulfilled. Those taking photos of their own events should set their digital cameras for the highest possible resolution if the images are desired for future printed publications or photographic prints. Lower resolutions are acceptable for web use but cannot be enlarged successfully for quality printing.
The client is responsible for coordinating subjects, location and time, and will be asked to approve in advance any outsourced photography expenses.
Photo Archives
Clients can browse photo contact sheets in the Office of Public Relations, where there are binders to flip through in addition to electronic archives. Please note that some professional and stock photographs in the possession of the Office of Public Relations are protected by copyright and cannot be distributed publicly. Photo credit should be given to the Office of Public Relations or Centenary News Service whenever photographs are used in publications or online. Individuals who have high-quality photos of college events can submit them to the publications specialist, via for inclusion in the archives and possible usage in campus publications and/or the web site.
Faces of Centenary
Every few semesters, the Office of Public Relations coordinates a photo shoot of faculty, staff and students called Faces of Centenary. These images reflect campus personalities and interests. Photos were first exhibited in the lobby of Magale Library and are now on display in the Moore Student Union Building.
