Why Choose a Methodist College?
June 2006
Name: Jennifer Bouso, junior
Major: Religious Studies | Minors: Sociology & Studio Arts
Home Church: Asbury UMC in Bossier City, LA
Jennifer is running the race, quite literally. She has not only been a member of Centenary’s cross country team, but she’s also a strong spiritual leader on campus. She single-handedly coordinates small group Bible studies for the newly formed Centenary Women United, a campus organization that connects Christian women. She is also actively involved in the United Methodist Student Movement and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Jennifer will serve as Chaplain’s Assistant this fall, taking on the responsibility of liaison among all religious life groups on campus.
"Centenary is my home. I love how you know everyone’s name, or at least everyone’s face. I love how involved the professors are and how they become your friends ... It really is a great atmosphere for growth." –JB
