Dr. Mark Ghiorso of the Department of Geology at the University of Washington will speak at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7 at Centenary College.
He is the latest speaker in the college's Science Division Colloquium series, which is held regularly in Room 114 of Mickle Hall.
His topic will be "Modern Approaches to Understanding Magmatic Evolution through Computer Modeling." The talk is intended for the general public, and the students, staff and faculty of Centenary College.
