Students to Jam for a Cause March 12 at Centenary
SHREVEPORT, LA— Theta Chi fraternity is sponsoring a music concert on Wednesday, March 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Anderson Auditorium of the Hurley Music Building. Cost is $2 and admission is open to the public. The benefit concert will generate proceeds to be donated to the American Cancer Society.
"Jam for a Cause," an event conceptualized by freshman Darius D. Graham, includes performances by some of Centenary College’s most popular performers. The entertainment list includes Sammy Williams, Gretchen Schmaltz, Brian White, Mindi DeBusk, Jessica Knight, Andre Pitre, Daniel LeBlanc and David Reiland.
Seniors have also been selected to speak about the benefits of the American Cancer Society and to introduce the performers. The chosen seniors are Laci Adams, Bobby Beaird, Brandon Lawson, Christy Melton, Robert Neumeyer, Harmony Newman,and Jonathan Vidrine.
