Centenary College Sets Parents and Family Weekend 2003 on Sept. 25-28

SHREVEPORT, LA—Family members of Centenary College students will gather on the campus for Parents and Family Weekend on Sept. 25-28.

The long weekend will begin Thursday evening with participants choosing to attend the opening men’s soccer game, a Shenandoah Shakespeare Express presentation or a play at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse.

Activities throughout the weekend will include a chance to attend a regular class or a mini-class, hear a performance by the Centenary Choir Ensemble, visit the College Store and Meadows Museum, tour the Fitness Center, attend other athletic events, and picnic on the grounds.

A “Decade Dance”is scheduled from 9 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Sept. 26, and the Parents Association meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27. Both events will be held in the South Dining Hall of Bynum Commons.
