Up 'til Dawn is a student-led fund-raising program hosted by colleges and universities nationwide. It unites faculty, students, the community and sponsors in a goal to help children receiving treatment at St. Jude. Centenary’s Up ‘til Dawn organization has raised over $19,000 for the hospital so far during the 2004-05 academic year.
KSCL is a non-commercial educational radio station that broadcasts to the Shreveport-Bossier City area. The student-run radio station introduces new and often unknown artists from a variety of genres to the campus and community. KSCL has recently received approval from the FCC to upgrade from 150 watts to 3,500 watts, an increase that will enable the station’s programs to be heard throughout the Shreveport-Bossier area. The station is currently raising funds to buy the necessary equipment to support the upgrade.
