Joubert Fills Annual Giving Position, Giglio Moves to Development Research at Centenary College
SHREVEPORT— Sarie Joubert is the new director of annual giving at Centenary College and Amy Giglio, the former director, has moved to the directorship of development research at the college. Their appointments were announced by Dr. Katherine Fell, vice president for development.
Ms. Joubert comes to Centenary with 18 years of experience as a financial advisor, working at local Morgan-Stanley and Merrill Lynch firms. She is an active community service volunteer, contributing her time to United Way, a hospital ministry through First United Methodist Church in Shreveport and various fundraising efforts. Her duties as director of annual giving will include coordinating annual fund campaigns and assisting in all areas of donor cultivation and fundraising, particularly among alumni.
Mrs. Giglio will be responsible for managing activities that provide proactive prospect research, prospect screening and prospect solicitation/proposal tracking to support the College's development and campaign efforts.
A member of the Centenary staff since 2000, she was formerly coordinator of research for the President's Office. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana in Monroe with a degree in journalism and an emphasis in public relations.
