About the 2012 National Survey of Student Engagement at Centenary College

Centenary College is committed to providing its students with the highest quality academic programs and activities. To provide us with feedback about student engagement and satisfaction, Centenary participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).

This survey of all first-year and senior baccalaureate degree-seeking students collects student responses related to the five NSSE Benchmarks of Effective Educational Practice, including:

  1. Level of Academic Challenge,
  2. Active and Collaborative Learning,
  3. Student-Faculty Interaction,
  4. Enriching Educational Experiences, and
  5. Supportive Campus Environment.

This spring, 554 institutions across the United States will participate in the NSSE administration. To learn more about NSSE, visit its website. To learn more about Centenary College’s NSSE survey and results, contact Karen Soul, Associate Provost, at email or 318-869-5240.
