Dear Parents and Family of Centenary Students:
We encourage you to share in the Centenary experience by GETTING INVOLVED:
- Be a Centenary Host/Hostess. Host receptions in your home for prospective students, incoming freshmen and returning Centenary students from your area. Host a holiday party in your home for other parents, students, and Centenary alumni.

- Be a Centenary Parent Ambassador. Recommend students in you area who may be a good fit for Centenary. Act as a resource for parents of prospective students (i.e., answer questions that only a “seasoned” parent could answer). Assist Centenary representatives with college fairs in your area.

- Be a Career Services Volunteer. Offer an internship at your company. Be a mentor. Allow students to "shadow" you at your place of employment. Serve as a mock interviewer. Post job announcements on the Career Services website.

- Be a Centenary Philanthropist. Make a gift to a specific program at Centenary that is important to you or your student (e.g., theatre, music, athletics, academics, etc.). Giving online is quick and easy, or mail your gift (checks payable to "Centenary College") to Centenary College, Post Office Box 36010, Shreveport, LA 71130-9952.
- Be a member of the Centenary College Parents Council. Keep in touch with campus happenings, and thereby understand and interpret the various changes that occur as your student experiences college life and thinks more independently. Meet other parents from your area and discuss college issues that are important to you.
