Women's Endowment Quorum

In existence since 1985, the Women's Endowment Quorum (WEQ) has contributed more than one million dollars to Centenary College. Membership is open to members of our community who believe in the vital mission of Centenary College. Membership in the WEQ requires an annual contribution of $1000 or, for those under 46 years of age, an annual contribution of $500 for Junior Membership.

WEQ operations are simple but key to the enhancement of the College. Each year our faculty, staff, and students submit project proposals to be awarded through WEQ funds. The WEQ selectively funds those projects that best help expand and reinforce the Centenary Experience. Such work ultimately helps our students realize their many dreams.

Likewise, WEQ membership requires little time but is highly enjoyable; in addition to Fall and Spring Business Luncheon, there are opportunities for theater, art, and social gatherings within and near our community. Invitations to special College events, such as the Board of Trustees Christmas Luncheon, are also routinely extended to Quorum members.

Help the WEQ to Grow

As we work to expand membership of the WEQ to Dallas, Houston, and Austin areas, we will be traveling to Dallas Arboretum in April of 2010. There we will meet up with Dallas area alumnae who have a great interest in Centenary — and help the President extend them invitation to join the WEQ.
