Career Exploration

Explore Careers

Exploring options for fulfilling work is another cornerstone of the Centenary Plan. Even as students learn to think globally, they need to consider their options for acting locally. All students participate in a series of meetings during their sophomore year designed to help them choose majors and careers.

In an age of global cooperation and conflict, students need to emerge from college ready to participate in the broad dialogues that shape the future. To this end, all Centenary students take part in at least one experience of living and learning in another culture.

Engage in Community Service

To be a good citizen, you must learn to contribute your talents and energies towards the greater interests of society. At Centenary, such service is more than talk — it's part of the curriculum. All students are required to complete a service learning project prior to graduation.
