From Students to Citizens
Read about the Quality Enhancement Plan to revise and improve the Centenary Plan.
Our unique three-part Centenary Plan takes students beyond the classroom to prepare them to be a citizen of the world, proactive in their own lives as well as the lives of those around them.
Explore CareersExploring options for fulfilling work is another cornerstone of the Centenary Plan. Even as students learn to think globally, they need to consider their options for acting locally. All students participate in a series of meetings during their sophomore year designed to help them choose majors and careers. Learn more about Career Exploration.
Experience Other CulturesIn an age of global cooperation and conflict, students need to emerge from college ready to participate in the broad dialogues that shape the future. To this end, all Centenary students take part in at least one experience of living and learning in another culture. Learn more about Intercultural Experience.
Engage in Community ServiceTo be a good citizen, you must learn to contribute your talents and energies towards the greater interests of society. At Centenary, such service is more than talk — it's part of the curriculum. All students are required to complete a service learning project prior to graduation.
