Service Learning
Centenary students enjoy great opportunities for education and participation. The Centenary Plan offers students an even greater opportunity—to share what they've learned with the world outside campus.

Fulfilling the Service Learning Requirement
Students are able to complete Service-Learning at anytime during their college career (including academic semesters, academic breaks, May Modules, and summers). It is suggested, however, that the service part of Service-Learning be completed before the semester in which the student intends to graduate. All projects are to be approved by the department coordinating the service before that service is undertaken. In all cases students are to attend an orientation/pre-flection meeting before beginning their service project.
Students must register to complete their Service Learning requirement through one of the following not-for-credit courses:
GED 151A See the list of approved opportunities. |
Dian Tooke |
GED 151C / REL 200 Visit Christian Leadership Center for more details. |
Betsy Eaves |
GED 151E Visit Education Department for more details. |
Dr. Sue Hernandez |
Before you begin your service-learning project, check with the department supervising the project. All sections require an orientation/pre-flection meeting.
