Centenary Mentor Program

The Centenary Mentor Program offers individual students and young alumni a unique opportunity to develop a relationship with a Centenary alumnus or a friend of the College. Centenary alumni and friends who serve as mentors share their experiences, perspectives, and wisdom regarding career choices and personal goals. The Centenary Mentor Program is flexible; some mentors and mentees meet or talk on a regular basis, whereas others communicate as needed.

By fostering a relationship with Centenary College alumni and friends, the Centenary Mentor Program promotes professional development and real world experience for our undergraduate students and young alumni. Participating in the program also allows alumni and friends an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the College.

How are mentors and mentees connected?

All participants of the Centenary Mentor Program must register to participate through an online career resource, CAREERlink. Because there is no formal matching, it is the responsibility of the student or young alumnus to search the database and contact potential mentors via email or phone call. The commitment level, mode of communication, and the duration of the mentoring relationship are discussed and established by both people.
