New Faculty for the 2008-2008 Academic Year

Each year new faculty join the ranks of our distinguished faculty. Here are the new faculty members who will arrive on campus in the fall of 2008.

Tenure-Track Faculty:

• Shelley Armstrong, Ph.D. from Texas Woman's University, has moved from a Lecturer's appointment to a tenure-track position in the Health & Exercise Science department.
• Daniel Henderson, Ph.D. from Indiana University, has moved from a Visiting appointment to a tenure-track position in the Health & Exercise Science department.
• Gloria Walker, Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, joins the History & Political Science department as Assistant Professor of Political Science.

Other New Faculty:

• Renee Smith-Cheveallier, B.A. from Centenary, joins the Theatre/Dance department as Lecturer in Dance. She is currently working on her M.F.A. at Louisiana Tech.
