A native of Tennessee and a graduate of Centenary College, Betsy Eaves has served as a Christian Educator in a number of United Methodist Churches in the Memphis and Louisiana Annual Conferences. From 1996 to 2002, Betsy was the director of Shreveport/Bossier Campus Ministry and served as the Shreveport District Missioner from 1998 to 2002. In June, Betsy was appointed to serve as Chaplain of Centenary College and Director of the Church Careers Institute.

Betsy’s husband Clay is the owner of Signs Now in Shreveport. Clay is also known to many in the community for his musical performances in churches and community theatre. Betsy and Clay have two daughters; Emily will be a senior at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas and Ashley will begin her freshman year at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
