Proposal Preparation

  1. Start early.
  2. Share ideas with peers and SRO in the development stage.
  3. Shop the idea with the sponsors.
  4. Tailor proposal to sponsor's agenda.
  5. Request adequate resources.
  6. Follow and address specially sponsor's guidelines.
  7. Organize proposal carefully and write clearly, concisely.
  8. Review budgets and resources with chair, dean, and SRO.
  9. Secure necessary committee reviews and certifications and obtain support letters in a timely manner.
  10. Adequately prepare the physical proposal.
