James Hall

James Hall is actually two buildings that are connected by a large lobby. The front building facing campus is considered "James Proper" while the back building next to the parking lot is referred to as "James Annex." James holds nearly 200 residents.

The lobby of James is the biggest residence hall lobby on campus. James lobby is a common meeting place and hosts many residential programs and activities. James Hall also boasts two laundry facilities, a large computer lab, and study room.

James is a primarily an upperclass coeducational building. The Residence Hall Association office is also located in James.

James Proper and lobby underwent extensive renovations during the summer of 2008. James Proper has new flooring, furniture, paint and wiring in all of the rooms, and the bathrooms have been thoroughly redone, including new flooring and motion sensing lighting. The lobby has new carpeting, lighting, fans, and a flatscreen television with a DVD player. The kitchen was also renovated and boasts all new appliances and cabinets.

James Annex was renovated during the summer of 2009.

The floor space of James Proper rooms is 17'9" x 12'6"'. The window space is 5'8" x 5'11". The floor space of James Annex rooms is 17'8" x 10'1". The window space is 3'6" x 5'9".
