Background
Career Exploration GED 251 is one part of the Centenary Plan, a three-pronged program of experiential learning designed to enhance the traditional liberal arts course of studies.
The six (6) sections of Career Explorations GED 251 meet once a week for 3 weeks, totaling 4.5 hours of classroom instruction each semester.
Purpose
Career Exploration GED 251 is designed to increase the student’s awareness of the career decision-making process, to help them explore their career choices through experiential learning, and to expand their understanding of the relationship between their education and the world of work.
Centenary College's commitment to “strengthen the foundation for students’ personal lives and career goals” and “to encourage them to become leaders in the work place, the community, the nation and the world at large” led to the development of the Career Exploration component of the Centenary Plan.
Grading
Career Exploration is a pass/fail graduation requirement.

Requirements
In order to receive credit a student must:
- Attend the scheduled sessions for your specific section.
- Complete and submit assignments on time as outlined in the syllabus.
