Podcast: Elain McArdle on The Migraine Brain
Listen/download to an interview conducted while she visited Centenary.
Elaine McArdle, a 1979 graduate of Centenary College and a 1983 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, recently visited the campus to talk with students and discuss her new book, The Migraine Brain: Your Breakthrough Guide to Fewer Headaches, Better Health. McArdle, who co-authored her first book with Harvard neurologist Dr. Carolyn Bernstein, M.D., discussed that migraines are a disease that sufferers can get control of, improve, and manage.
McArdle has been a staff reporter and editor for a number of newspapers including a national legal paper, Lawyers Weekly USA. She now lives outside Boston and freelances for the Boston Globe, Boston Globe Magazine, Boston Magazine, and many other publications. The Migraine Brain, released in September by Free Press (a division of Simon and Schuster), was featured two weeks ago on The Today Show when Dr. Bernstein was interviewed by Matt Lauer.
