Dance Scholarships
Audition requirements for dance scholarships:
- Participate in one of the scheduled dance classes at Centenary.
- Perform a ballet, tap, modern, or jazz dance solo (one to two minutes). Provide your own CD or cassette tape of your accompaniment.
- Short essay explaining what role dance will play in your future.
- Submit a recommendation from one of your previous dance instructors.
- Personal interview with the coordinator of the dance program.
If it is not possible for you to audition in person, contact Ginger Folmer to discuss submitting a DVD or videotape.
Students who are awarded dance scholarship funding must be members of Escaped Images Dance Company and sign a contract that details the commitments involved.
