2009-2010
2009 President's Community Service Honor Roll Recognition
The Corporation for National and Community Service recently honored Centenary College with a place on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America’s communities.
This is the fourth year in a row that Centenary has won the award. Overall, the Corporation honored six schools with Presidential Awards. In addition, 83 were named as Honor Roll With Distinction members and 546 schools as Honor Roll members, including Centenary College.

2008-2009
2008 President's Community Service Honor Roll Recognition
The Corporation for National and Community Service recently honored Centenary College with a place on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America’s communities.
MLK Service Day 2009 was a NATIONAL success!
On January 24, 2009 a group of Centenary students, faculty, staff, and alumni came together to serve their local community in a unique and special way by participating in a school beautification project for the students of 2 local public schools to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Southwest Affiliate of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls and the National Association of College and University Residence Halls recognized this year's MLK Service Day as both the Regional Winner and National Winner of the Community Service Program Of The Month Award for the month of January 2009.
The event was nominated by Centenary student Aleks Kasztalsa and Centenary's chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary and competed against other nominations from other colleges and universities from across the nation.

2006 President's Community Service Honor Roll Recognition
The Corporation for National and Community Service honored Centenary College with a place on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America’s communities. This award recognizes Centenary’s students, faculty and staff for building a culture of service and civic engagement. This is the first year this award is being given.
The Presidential Honor Roll is part of a larger program by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Its mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.
