Effective immediately, August 31, 2021, employees/contracted workers who are not fully vaccinated or chose not to disclose their vaccination status, will be required on a WEEKLY basis to present a Covid test result they have been given sometime between Saturday and Wednesday. We highly recommend you take the test as early as possible so that you will have test results in a timely manner.

Test results are to be reported on the following link no later than Thursday of each week before close of Business. On Friday before 12PM, Supervisors or Hiring Officials will be informed if any employee/contractor that is not in compliance for validation.

Faculty and Staff Weekly COVID Test Reporting

Centenary College of Louisiana will cover the ON-CAMPUS testing cost of any employee or contracted worker who has received at least one vaccination shot and stays on track for their second. The College will continue to cover the testing cost until the employee or contractor is considered fully vaccinated.


For Staff Employees, Failure to comply will result in:

1st offense: Verbal Warning

2nd Offense: At minimum written Letter of Reprimand up to Suspension without Pay. Suspension lasts until the College receives an approved PCR negative test. Suspensions take place the following business day.

3rd Offense: At minimum Suspension without pay up to termination for failure to comply

4th Offense: Termination

For Contracted Workers:

1st offense: Verbal Reminder

2nd Offense: Immediate suspension of contract until Compliance

3rd Offense: Contract Termination

For Faculty:

1st offense: Written Warning copied to Department Chair

2nd Offense: At minimum written Letter of Reprimand copied to Department Chair up to suspension of campus access privileges, including access to office (all courses move to remote instruction). Suspension lasts until the College receives an approved PCR negative test. Suspensions take place the following business day.

3rd Offense: At minimum suspension of campus access privileges, including access to office (all courses move to remote instruction) to termination for failure to comply.

4th Offense: Termination
