All Centenary students, faculty, and staff must notify the College if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, receive a positive test for COVID-19, or come into close contact (within six feet for more than 15 minutes, as defined by the CDC) with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Students, faculty, and staff should follow the COVID-19 protocols to determine when and how to notify the appropriate College officials.

Contact Tracing

Centenary conducts contact tracing with individuals who have tested positive in order to determine their close contacts (as defined by the CDC). The Louisiana Department of Health may also conduct contact tracing with Centenary students, faculty, and staff. All close contacts identified during the contact tracing process will be notified and provided with detailed instructions about their next steps.

Quarantine & Isolation Facilities

Centenary maintains both on and off-campus quarantine and isolation facilities to support students who test positive for COVID-19 or need to quarantine due to possible exposure to the virus. Students can also choose to quarantine or isolate at their homes. Residence Life staff will assist students in moving to appropriate quarantine or isolation facilities as needed.
