All community members and guests must follow the Campus Safety Guidelines using campus spaces.

  • Dining – the Cafeteria and Randle’s: There will be no external customers until further notice. Only Centenary students, employees, and trustees (“patrons”) will be served. All dining staff will wear face masks and gloves. Floor markers will indicate appropriate physical distancing (at least 6 ft.) for those waiting in line. Capacity measures will be announced consistent with CDC and State of Louisiana guidelines.
  • Indoor Events: Centenary-approved indoor events (meetings, lectures, receptions, dinners) can be held under appropriate distancing/table spacing and occupancy guidelines as determined by the College at the time of the event.
  • Outdoor Events:  Centenary-approved outdoor events can be held under appropriate distancing/spacing and guidelines as determined by the College at the time of the event. Effective March 26, 2021, non-Centenary community members can attend Centenary-sponsored outdoor events while following all Campus Safety Guidelines.
  • Athletic Events: The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) resumed athletic competition in January 2021. Spectators are welcome at athletic competitions, but must adhere to Campus Cafety Guidelines. See gocentenary.com/information/COVID-19_information for the full athletic spectator policy.
  • Fitness Center: The Fitness Center is open to the Centenary community and external members with the following restrictions: 
    • All users must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
    • All users must enter at the Main Entrance (West side).
    • Card readers will be used at the front desk for Centenary ID cards.
    • All community members entering the Fitness Center will complete a screening process, including a temperature check, before using the facility.
    • Masks must be worn at all times. Exceptions include athletic teams engaged in coach-supervised practice.
    • Physical distancing of at least six feet should be observed.
    • All wet areas will be closed, including showers, saunas, and the hot tub/whirlpool.
    • The elevator will have a maximum occupancy of two individuals at a time.
    • Sanitizing stations are provided, including hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, sanitizing spray bottles, and rags/towels
