SPF: The Good We Don't Do.

Smith Building | Smith Room 107

What we do matters, but what about what we don't do? We hold a doctor responsible if she gives a fatal dose to her patient. But what if she doesn't do everything she could to save a patient's life? Taking food from a starving person is cruel, but people are starving to death in Yemen. We could help them, but we don't act. Is it different? Few of us try to make the world a worse place, but does any of us do all we can to make it a better one? Are we responsible for the good we don't do? Join us this month to talk about moral responsibility for what we don't do.
