What is the Champion's Club?

The Centenary Champion's Club was established to honor faculty and staff for their dedication to our students as well as their financial support. Membership in the Centenary Champion's Club is renewed each fiscal year through a donation of any amount, and members receive special recognition, invitations to events, and information on the impact the Champion's Club is making.

I work at Centenary; Why should I also give money to the College?

As a valued member of the Centenary community, you play a vital role in advancing the mission of Centenary. Your gifts tell alumni and friends of the College that those who know it best, from the inside out, believe so strongly in Centenary’s mission that you are willing to support the institution through charitable gift as well as on the job. That is a powerful endorsement, and one that signals to alumni and friends that Centenary is worthy of their support.

Where does the money go?

The money goes wherever you choose for it to go. We understand that sometimes you want to support an area or program that means the most to you. Now, in addition to the Annual Fund or the area or program of your choosing, you can give to the newly established Centenary Faculty and Staff Endowed Scholarship Fund. The hope is to be able to fully fund this scholarship ($25,000) within a couple of years. The Faculty and Staff Endowed Scholarship will allow us to directly impact our students and help them to thrive.

I donate during other times of the year. Is this counted in the Faculty/Staff campaign totals?

Yes! You are automatically identified as faculty or staff when you give to any campaign and will be automatically enrolled in the Champion Club.

Why I Give:

Dr. Jeanne Hamming

Associate Dean and Professor of English

"I’m amazed on a daily basis how hard the people of Centenary work on behalf of our students. It’s easy to want to give when you see so much commitment from so many individuals.”

Monica Powell

Controller

"Centenary College is an amazing institution with amazing students, faculty and staff. The reason I give back is because I understand firsthand how scholarships can lighten the financial burden of students who otherwise would not be able to afford a private college education. I have watched over the past 26 years as many of Centenary’s students have graduated and made a positive contribution to the world."

Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy The institution does not discriminate in its educational and employment policies against any person on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, or on any other basis proscribed by federal, state, or local law.
