Need Analysis

General Policies of Need Analysis
The federal processor calculates the student's aid index (SAI) using the information provided on the FAFSA.  Centenary does not use an institution methodology. Federal aid is awarded based on the student's calculated SAI.

Standard Adjustments to Need Analysis
Standard Adjustments to Need Analysis are performed on a case by case basis by the director of the FAO with sufficient documentation. Examples of Standard Adjustments are change in family income due to unemployment or change in employment, private school tuition or high medical expenses.
