Global Learning is Transformative

Global study is an essential part of the Centenary experience. Take what you learn in the classroom into the world as you encounter new perspectives, challenge your assumptions, and discover connections between local communities and global issues.

Whether through study abroad, intensive language study, or culturally diverse experiences closer to home, Centenary provides opportunities to build the knowledge, skills, and perspectives needed to engage thoughtfully with the world.

The Office of Global Engagement supports:

  • TREK Culture programming including Faculty Led Modules, Semester or Year length Study Abroad, or Intensive Language Study,
  • Development of Independent Culture Projects for students who have specific goals for study abroad,
  • Advising on international study opportunities and scholarships (domestic and international)
  • Managing Passport Points approval and reimbursement
  • International Student Support including visa issuance and compliance

Faculty-led Modules

TREK Culture Modules invite students to explore diverse cultures through immersive experiences offered during the May or Summer Terms.

Exchange Partnerships

Centenary partners with more than 10 universities and consortia around the globe to facilitate study abroad for an academic year or a single semester!

Independent Study Abroad

Independent Study Abroad allow students to either complete a Trek credit alone or to combine academics and Trek credit into one unique project that fits the student's particular interests.
