The sixty-five-acre Centenary College of Louisiana campus, two miles south of downtown Shreveport, is widely known for its natural beauty and stately Georgian architecture. Weddings

The sixty-five-acre campus of Centenary College offers gorgeous venues for weddings. The lush campus includes historic Brown Chapel, built in 1955. Brown Chapel features vaulted ceilings with seating for approximately 600 guests where the wedding party can make a dramatic entrance down the 81-foot aisle. The Chapel is handicapped accessible on the west side.

Meetings

Centenary classrooms are the best place to hold your off-site meeting or training. From large lecture halls to small conference rooms, most spaces have wi-fi and Ethernet access and have audio and video projection capability.

Athletic Facilities

Indoor and outdoor facilities are available for sports competition and practices, tournaments, and other events. The iconic Gold Dome is also a great location for larger events such as conferences and concerts.

Summer Camps

Centenary College is home to various camps throughout the summer, including academic, art, church, dance, and athletic-focused sessions. The College also hosts camps sponsored by other organizations. Classrooms, athletic facilities, performance spaces, and dorms are available for use, as are dining services.

Movie Shoots

Centenary College of Louisiana can satisfy many of your production needs. Known for its natural beauty and Georgian architecture, Centenary also offers less known sites such as an underground tunnel, a screening room and the Steeple Room in Brown Chapel. The College can also provide the typical college venues such as classrooms of all styles, dorm rooms, athletic fields and arenas, a pool, the library, conference rooms, fraternity and sorority houses, banquet rooms, a cafeteria and kitchen, even an art museum. The College has hosted filming for family-friendly movies "Queen Sized"(2009) and "Acceptance" (2009) as well as the television show "The Gates" (2010). Centenary has also served as an on-location shoot for "Vampires Suck" (2010), "Butter" (2011), and "Shark Night 3D" (2011).
