2019 Annual Legacy Luncheon celebrates Centenary scholarship donors

The 2019 Legacy Luncheon, held March 21, brought together more than 300 members of the Centenary community to celebrate donor generosity and student achievement during the past year.

Student scholarship recipients, faculty, and staff had an opportunity to meet and thank the donors who provide support for endowed and annual scholarships at the College. These generous gifts support student scholarships and endowed professorships, ensuring that outstanding students have access to a Centenary education regardless of their financial situation.

Following an opening blessing from Rev. Lindy Broderick, Centenary chaplain, and remarks from President Christopher L. Holoman, lunch guests enjoyed a performance by the Centenary College Choir under the direction of Dr. David Hobson ’98.

Keynote speakers were scholarship donor Rev. William “Wishy” Nolan ‘54, whose family has a long connection with the College, and student scholarship recipient, Patrick D. Riley ’22.
