Centenary provides students with the opportunity to engage in the world around them from before their first semester of college. Study and immersion in various cultures and histories students can begin to truly see the world around them. International travel and study improves skills and global awareness impossible to achieve inside the classroom. Intercultural engagement both connects our international students to Centenary and our local students to their world.

The Purpose of Intercultural Engagement:

“I’ve always dreamed of going to Greece. Seeing the Parthenon by participating in the Greece module gave me this experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. I learned so much about Greek culture, not just the ancient culture, but modern Greece, and everything in between.”
