From the Desk of the President

As Centenary embarks on its 197th year of providing a superior liberal arts education to our current generation of students, I would like to thank you and those like you, our most generous benefactors, for your commitment and support of the mission of the College through your leadership giving.

Members of the President’s Circle represent Centenary’s most loyal supporters and help us maintain the College’s standing as a historic leader in higher education. For nearly 200 years, donors have continued to invest in the life of the College to provide needed resources to students, professors and programs that maintain Centenary’s high standards and historic mission.

Thanks to your generous support, Centenary has added new curricular and co-curricular programming in support of our students, including

  •  The addition of a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology to our already strong science program
  • A new Learning Commons in the Magale Library that offers programs, services, and resources for students and faculty
  • Preparations in 2023 for a total renovation and addition to venerable Mickle Hall
  • After a seventy year absence, the return of football to Centenary, with the first varsity game scheduled for Fall 2024

As evidenced by these important initiatives, and many others, Centenary remains a vibrant and forward-looking liberal arts College as it nears its third century of continued educational excellence for generations of Ladies and Gents, and those yet to come.

On behalf of all the students, faculty and staff, thank you for your generosity and support and for serving as an exceptional example to all alumni and friends of the College. We are so appreciative for all you do for Centenary!
