Centenary awards diplomas to Spring Class of 2025
Centenary College of Louisiana awarded diplomas to nearly 100 students of the Spring Class of 2025 during the commencement on May 3, 2024, at the Gold Dome.
Ten students with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 or higher graduated summa cum laude. Twelve graduated magna cum laude with GPAs between 3.7 to 3.89, and nine achieved cum laude with GPAs of 3.5 to 3.69.
Twelve students graduated with departmental honors. Several students earned double degrees, and one completed dual degrees. Students with double majors complete coursework within a single bachelor’s degree. Dual degrees require completing course work in two separate fields of study.
Dr. Marjorie Hass, president of the Council of Independent Colleges, delivered the commencement address. Shreveport’s Second Line Brass Band led the procession out of the Gold Dome with a New Orleans-style parade. The full list of graduates, their degrees, and links
