Centenary dedicates newly engraved bricks

Centenary College alumni, donors, students, and friends gathered outside the Student Union Building, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, to celebrate the College’s bicentennial with a special brick dedication ceremony.

Dr. Christopher Holoman, president of the College; Fred Landry, vice president of development; and Board of Trustees member Oliver Jenkins cut the ribbon for the newly added bricks engraved with names of donors and supporters. The event marked a significant milestone in Centenary’s history, honoring 200 years of establishment and legacy.

The bricks symbolize lasting contributions and commitment to the College’s future. Dr. Holoman highlighted the bicentennial year as a time of meaningful planning and reflection. He emphasized that the bricks serve as symbols of longevity and legacy, designed to stand the test of time and inspire future generations.
