Holiday Makers Market at the Meadows Museum of Art is December 14
SHREVEPORT, LA — The Meadows Museum of Art at Centenary College will welcome local artists, designers, makers, and businesses to the museum for its third annual Holiday Makers Market on Saturday, December 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Meadows is located on the Centenary campus at 2911 Centenary Boulevard.
The Shreve Memorial Library will join the Makers Market again this year with coloring sheets and a simple craft for children. The Meadows Museum will also have a collection of used and vintage art books for sale, and the Friends of the Meadows, a philanthropic group supporting the Museum, will sponsor an ornament-decorating activity.
“As a Shreveport transplant, I am especially looking forward to meeting some of the area’s talented artists and small business owners while supporting Shreveport’s creative economy,” says Heather F. Wetzel, director of the Meadows Museum.
