Centenary's Department of Public Safety works in and with the College community to provide a safe environment for all students, faculty, and staff. DPS employs State Certified Police Officers who are on duty 24 hours a day every day of the year.

Officers patrol all areas of campus and also lead many crime prevention and education programs, including Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.), alcohol and drug education, and Operation I.D., a program designed to deter theft and fraud.
