Centenary College MAT PRAXIS Requirements

In order to be admitted into any of the MAT programs offered at Centenary College, students must take and pass PRAXIS exams testing both basic academic skills for teaching candidates and their knowledge of the content of the area in which they are seeking certification. An additional PRAXIS test (or two for Escadrille students) on pedagogy is required before students can start residency. Students are encouraged to take this test while they are completing the program. To register for an exam, visit www.ets.org/praxis.
