Cara Lamb holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Hurley School of Music and a Master of Music degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She was the recipient of the 2009 Mary C. White full music scholarship at Centenary College and won the 2012 Monroe Symphony League Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artists competition with her performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor.  In addition to teaching piano, Ms. Lamb enjoys collaborative performing and is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and Greater Shreveport Music Teachers Association.
