An Update from Provost karen soul - March 1,2021 - 10:29 am

Dear Centenary community,

Welcome back to campus! As we settle back into our routines this week, please take note of the following important reminders:

All students (residential and non-residential) must complete COVID re-entry testing. Students have the following testing options this week:

On-campus (Relief TeleMed Testing) - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2 pm to 9 pm in the Fit. Relief TeleMed is not free, but will file with your insurance.

Community testing (Ochsner and LSU Health) – Community testing sites are available Monday through Saturday this week. The closest site to Centenary is Peaceful Rest Baptist Church at 8200 St. Vincent Avenue, available Wednesday and Thursday. See centenary.edu/covidtest for a full schedule of community sites this week.

Submit your COVID test results using this form: https://centenary.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/469512. Please do not email the results – we are using a different system than we did for January re-entry testing.

Please continue to look for and report any maintenance issues in residence halls, academic buildings, athletic facilities, and other College spaces using the Facilities Request Form found at centenary.edu/facilitiesrequest. Our Facilities staff has worked tirelessly to get the campus back in good working order after the winter storm and water outage and we want to ensure that any lingering issues are addressed promptly.

Please also remember that tomorrow – Tuesday, March 2 – is a scheduled Reading Day. I wish you a good, productive week!

An update from provost Karen Soul - February 25, 2021 - 4:17 PM

Dear Centenary community,

The College has quickly addressed a few leaks on campus and continues to be vigilant for any additional post-storm issues. I am happy to report that all buildings have running water and our drinking water supply is plentiful. The City of Shreveport reports that nearly all customers have water service and that the boil advisory could be lifted by Saturday, February 27. Remote instruction resumed today and will continue tomorrow; in-person instruction is set to resume Monday, March 1.

Please see below for important information about the academic calendar, the weather (yes, I did just write that – I’m so sorry!), and COVID-19 re-entry testing:

  • Academic Calendar: There will be a change in the academic calendar necessitated by the unexpected cancellation of classes last week and this week. The Reading Day scheduled for Wednesday, March 17, will be converted to an instructional day. The Reading Day scheduled for Tuesday, March 2, will remain as a Reading Day.
  • Weather: We are closely monitoring the threat of severe weather in Shreveport and the surrounding region beginning tonight (Thursday, February 25). The primary threat from this storm system is heavy rain, wind, and hail, so our concern is student safety on campus during a power outage. Please be vigilant about water in low areas and look out for trees and branches that may be prone to fall due to soil that is saturated from melting ice and snow. Please charge cell phones and other devices, and check out this handy Instagram story with other power outage tips. The Insta story includes the number for DPS (207-0007) if you need assistance during any emergency.
  • Re-entry testing: Due to the large number of students who will be returning to campus this weekend, Centenary will conduct COVID-19 re-entry testing for all students next week. Please see below for detailed information about re-entry testing and shelter in place protocols, which will be similar to the re-entry in January 2021.

Testing and Shelter in Place Procedures

All students (residential and non-residential) will complete COVID re-entry testing during the week of March 1. Documentation of a negative test sample taken no earlier than Tuesday, February 23, will be required to receive a wristband and be released from shelter in place protocols.

Students who tested positive for COVID-19 on or after October 12th do not need to test or shelter in place, but should still diligently follow standard safety protocols such as masking, hand washing, and social distancing.

Shelter in place FAQs

What does "shelter in place" mean?

"Shelter in place" means that you must stay in your dorm room without guests (including suitemates) unless you are: 1) seeking medical testing or treatment; 2) picking up to-go meals from the Café; 3) attending class in person; 4) attending a varsity athletic practice or supervised workout; or 5) approved by the COVID response team to leave your room for another reason (i.e. an off-campus job). Students may also attend the Campus Activity Fair on Jones-Rice on Thursday. All attendees must be masked at all times and should socially distance and limit close contact.

What if I need to leave my room to go to work or do something else important?

Email covid@centenary.edu to explain your situation and we will work with you.

Why can't I submit a COVID test taken earlier than February 23?

The CDC recommends getting tested no sooner than 4-5 days after potential exposure; earlier tests are more likely to give a false negative result for exposure during the time that students have been off campus.

Where can I get tested?

A list of testing sites is available at centenary.edu/covidtest and is updated frequently. To locate a testing site close to your home, visit https://www.hhs.gov/coronavirus/community-based-testing-sites/index.html.

On campus, students have the following testing options next week:

Relief TeleMed Testing: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2 pm to 9 pm in the FIT. Relief TeleMed is not free, but will file with your insurance.

What happens after I test negative for COVID?

Upload a copy of your test result using this form: https://centenary.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/469512. You will receive instructions to pick up a wristband that grants you access to the Café, Randle’s, and other indoor spaces.

Please contact covid@centenary.edu with any additional questions about re-entry testing next week.

I wish you all a good end to the week, a restful weekend, and safe travels back to campus.

Sincerely,

Karen

Fitness Center hours update

An update from provost Karen Soul - February 24, 2021 11:30 am

Dear Centenary community,

Today’s update is sent with gratitude from a campus with steadily improving water service and abundant sunlight peeking through the trees in the arboretum (see the view from my office window below!). While there is still much work to be done in and around the City of Shreveport, the progress that has been made in the last few days is encouraging and energizing. I hope that all of you and your families are experiencing the same kind of improvements and optimism that I can see here on campus. We are all eager to welcome you back for in-person instruction on Monday, March 1.

Please remember that remote/online instruction resumes tomorrow, Thursday, February 25. Students who have left campus should plan to return no later than Sunday, February 28, to be ready for classes on Monday morning. Dining in the cafeteria also returns to its regular schedule today, Wednesday, February 24. Randle’s will remain closed for the remainder of this week.

Facilities Services reports that all campus buildings are now receiving at least some water through city systems, with the exception of Sexton Hall and Bynum Commons, both of which have access to well water. Toilets are flushing more and more reliably as water pressure increases in the system, although some flushing may still be sporadic. Centenary Facilities staff worked to address at least 15 leaks caused by the extreme weather and is keeping a vigilant eye out for additional problems. Please continue to immediately report any plumbing or other maintenance issues to Residence Life staff or DPS so that we can quickly address problems.

Meanwhile, plenty of activity continues on campus and there are several events that you can enjoy even from afar:

Athletics: The Gents soccer team battled to a hard-fought 2-2 tie against ETBU last night, and our Ladies and Gents basketball teams and Gents lacrosse team are hosting home contests this weekend. The Ladies gymnastics, Ladies soccer, Ladies volleyball, Ladies softball, and Gents baseball teams are on the road this weekend. Visit GoCentenary.com for video and stats links for all games.

Virtual Author Reading: On Friday, February 26, Able Muse Press hosts a virtual reading and Q&A for three acclaimed, award-winning Able Muse Press authors, including Dr. Emily Leithauser, assistant professor of English at Centenary. See the Facebook Event for more information and a link to access the virtual reading.

An update from Mark Miller - February 23, 2021 - 10:05 am

Update – we have turned off water to Cline temporarily to fix newly identified leaks that were caused by the winter storm. Our staff is making repairs right now and we hope to have water back on by the end of the day.

An update from Mark Miller - February 23, 2021 - 9:30 am

The city has reported that water has been restored to campus. We are aware that water pressure is still very low in some areas and are continuing to check all campus buildings.

If you see any sign of a leak, please contact your RA or DPS immediately. You can follow up with a maintenance report online, but time is very important when dealing with even a small leak, so please tell someone by phone or in person if at all possible. It is possible for pipes to be damaged by rapid changes in temperature and pressure.

Please be advised that maintenance or residence life staff may enter rooms to check for leaks, after knocking and identifying themselves. We will not do this unnecessarily, but with so many people not on campus we want to balance respect for privacy with diligence to try to prevent damage to anyone’s belongings.

Please be aware that the citywide boil order is still in place. Water is available in the residence halls in addition to the drinks provided in the cafeteria.

update from provost karen soul - february 22, 2021 - 11:45 am

Dear Centenary community,

We are in regular communication with Shreveport’s water department and yesterday they were very encouraged after finding and fixing a leak near the Centenary campus…only to find several more problems shortly afterward. Some campus buildings have seen a slight improvement, but on the whole there is still much work to be done and the city is still not able to provide a firm timeline for the full restoration of water service on campus. In addition, the city-wide boil order remains in place. We deeply appreciate the work that the city crews are doing and also their commitment to keeping us informed of their progress.

At this time, the College plans for remote/online classes to resume on Thursday, February 25, and in-person instruction to resume on Monday, March 1. Students who have left campus should plan to return no later than Sunday, February 28, in order to prepare for class on Monday. We will, of course, adjust this plan as necessary if the water situation is not resolved. Staff should continue to be in touch with their supervisors and work from home, as they are able.

There is good news to report alongside the setbacks. For instance, our Facilities Services crew has discovered a method for routing water from one of the campus wells into the boiler system in James Annex, allowing for the restoration of heat to that building. Once the thaw provided access to the previously-frozen wells, they have proved essential to helping us move the campus back toward normalcy. The Gold Dome, at a lower elevation than the rest of campus, continues to have at least some water pressure for showers and toilets.

We are also able to open more campus services this week for those who remain in the residence halls. Please see the schedule below for information about dining, COVID-19 testing, and other services:

  • Dining: On Monday, February 22, dining will be available for Brunch (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and Dinner (5:00 to 7:00 p.m.). Beginning Tuesday, February 23, regular dining hours will return for Breakfast (7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.), Lunch (11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), Dinner (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), and Late Night (8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). Menus may be adjusted due to disruptions in food delivery, but we expect that situation to improve throughout the week.
  • COVID-19 Testing: Relief Telemed will be on campus for COVID-19 testing on Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please visit centenary.edu/covidtest for more information.
  • Fitness Center: The Fitness Center will be staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout the week. Students will be able to access the Fit to use restrooms and locker rooms, but workout spaces will not be open.
  • Gold Dome: The Gold Dome is available for students today from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for restroom use upstairs. Showers in the Gold Dome will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for all students.
  • SUB: The SUB will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Randle’s will not be open.

Please continue to exercise caution when moving around campus, although tomorrow’s predicted high of 70 degrees (!) should take care of most of our remaining snow and ice. Please also continue to report emergencies to DPS at 207-0007 and facilities needs to Facilities Services via the Facilities Request form found at https://www.centenary.edu/directories/offices-services-directory/facilities-services/.

We will continue to provide updates as we have new information. I hope that all of you can get some much-needed rest today and in the coming days.

update from provost karen soul - february 21, 2021 - 5:20 pm

Dear Centenary Community,

Today we are very grateful for the slowly improving road and weather conditions in and around Shreveport, which are allowing city crews to perform crucial repairs to the water lines and facilitating the transport of desperately needed supplies, such as food and water, to our entire community.

We are thrilled to report that the water situation on the Centenary campus is improving, though progress may still be slow and we cannot predict whether further interruptions will occur as the city continues repairs. As water service returns, you may hear air in the pipes and water will likely be brown at first. Students in residence halls can assist the process by turning off faucets, many of which may currently be on. We will continue to provide water updates as they are available.

As a reminder, all classes (in-person and remote/online) are canceled from Monday, February 22 through Wednesday, February 24. Staff members should check with their supervisors and plan to work remotely, as they are able, until water is restored to campus.

Students remaining on campus should continue to check centenary.edu/updates and Centenary social media for information about campus services and conditions. In particular, please note:

  • Facilities Services has provided some helpful tips (on this page, below) about managing toilets until water service is restored. Please contact Facilities if you need assistance or if you notice a toilet that needs attention.
  • The Fitness Center restrooms will be available for use today (Sunday, February 21) until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Dining will be open for Brunch (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and Dinner (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) today through Wednesday.
  • Please continue to exercise extreme caution when walking around campus or driving around the city. There are still slick spots and patches of ice on sidewalks and roads, and please be aware that ice falling from trees or buildings can be very dangerous.

Please call DPS at 207-0007 for emergencies and submit non-emergency work orders at https://www.centenary.edu/directories/offices-services-directory/facilities-services/.

Thank you to all those who are working hard for our community in the midst of such a challenging situation. I am hopeful that the improving conditions mean that you will all have a chance for some well-deserved rest and recuperation in the coming days.

managing bathroom use on campus from chris sampite, director of facilities - february 21, 2021 - 1:10 pm

The Facilities staff thanks you for your patience and assistance over the past week. Although we are planning for a water outage that may extend through Tuesday, we have been able to get more staff on campus today to clean bathrooms and clear toilets. We have been using water from the pool to support needs for toilets and have recently been able to access water wells that were previously frozen. All toilets are being checked and cleaned today.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO MANAGE YOUR TOILET UNTIL WATER SERVICE IS RESTORED:

CLINE HALL:

All Cline toilets have been cleaned. Flush your toilet using the blue Lowe’s buckets located in the courtyard. A water hose (from a well) is available to refill the buckets as needed. It’s important to pour a full bucket of water in the BOWL of the toilet to activate the flush, AFTER EACH USE.

ROTARY, HARDIN, JAMES, ANNEX, AND SEXTON:

Toilet cleaning in Rotary is ongoing. Use water jugs or Lowe’s buckets located in each lobby or at the water filling station in front of Sexton Hall. Fill the toilet TANK with water then flush as normal, AFTER EACH USE.

Please call DPS at 207-0007 for emergencies and submit non-emergency work orders at https://www.centenary.edu/directories/offices-services-directory/facilities-services/.

Thank you! I wish safe travels for all those traveling this week, and we look forward to welcoming you back on campus.

An update on Fitness Center Hours - February 21, 2021 - 9:40 am

The Fitness Center will be open for restrooms today, February 21 through Tuesday, February 23. Hours are 9:00 am - 11:00 am and 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm The workout spaces will be closed except for supervised Athletic team activity.

a message from provost karen soul - February 20, 2021 - 12:30 pm

Dear Centenary Community,

Thank you all for your patience and flexibility during this very challenging week. While there are still many unknowns for all those living in our city and our entire region, we want to provide you with the information that we have in order to help you plan for the week ahead.

  • Due to widespread pipe failures and continuing issues with water pressure throughout the water and sewer system, the City of Shreveport is unable to provide a firm timeline for the restoration of reliable water service in the city, including to the Centenary campus. The city-wide boil order remains in place.
  • Because of the water situation, Centenary will cancel all classes from Monday, February 22 through Wednesday, February 24. The College will provide an update on campus operations for the remainder of next week on Monday, February 22.
  • Improving road conditions in the city will allow the College to bring in extra custodial staff this weekend, although their work will continue to be severely limited without reliable sources of running water. The College will continue to deliver jugs of pool water to residence halls to assist with flushing toilets.
  • Students who choose to travel home are urged to use extreme caution and consider the following:
    • Talk with family members to assess whether conditions at home and on the roads are safe
    • Check road conditions before leaving campus:
      • Arkansas Department of Transportation: https://www.arkansashighways.com/
      • Louisiana Department of Transportation: https://511la.org/
      • Texas Department of Transportation: https://www.txdot.gov/
      • Mississippi Department of Transportation: https://mdot.ms.gov/
    • Watch the weather forecast to determine the best time to travel
      • Saturday, February 20: Temperatures predicted to be in the 40s for most of the afternoon
      • Sunday, February 21: Temperatures predicted to be in the 40s and 50s for most of the day
    • Plan for delays or an emergency on the road
      • Fuel may be hard to find on the road. Consider driving only if your car has a full tank of gas, or plan to stop frequently for small amounts of fuel if possible.
      • Fully charge your phone before leaving.
      • Bring snacks and drinks, winter wear (coat, hat, gloves, scarf), and blankets

    • Residence halls will remain open and all campus services will continue for students who remain on campus
      • Residence Life staff will be on duty in the residence halls
      • Dining Services will continue with daily Brunch (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Dinner (5-7 p.m.)
      • The College is continuing to seek bottled water to distribute to students and expects another delivery today

Please continue to contact Residence Life, Facilities Services, and DPS to report any health and safety issues on campus. We are enormously grateful for all of the students who have volunteered to help with tasks such as transporting water and clearing ice and snow. Students who remain on campus can continue to assist our efforts by tying up trash bags and leaving them near dumpsters and flushing toilets with the water provided, if possible.

Thank you again for your patience and resilience this week. We are hopeful that the next few days will bring relief for our campus and for the thousands of people in our city and region who are suffering so terribly from the consequences of this winter storm.

A message from Dr. Holoman - February 18, 2021 - 3:54 PM

Dear Centenary students and families,

I want to thank you for your patience during this very difficult situation and to make sure you know the current status of operations on campus. Please know that we are all doing everything we can think of to keep our students safe.

There is little or no running water in the city of Shreveport. They hope to be able to get pressure back up by the weekend, but that may be an optimistic scenario. There are literally hundreds of water main leaks and they cannot even be found, much less repaired, until the snow and sleet thaw. The lack of water pressure has implications for the heating system as well. While most of the residential spaces on campus have heat, there are some limited outages and areas where the heat is operating at less than full strength. Please refer to Dean Miller’s communication earlier today. You will also see in that memo other measures to try and address the lack of water. I realize that the greatest challenge is flushing toilets and other aspects of personal hygiene. Unfortunately, there simply aren’t any good solutions until the city water service is restored. Driving is almost impossible until the roads clear, making it difficult to replenish supplies, have repair crews on campus, or make other arrangements such as portable toilets. We are exploring the possibility of using the water in the swimming pool for flushing, but the ice and the terrain on campus and identifying containers all present challenges. I am also aware that in Cline in particular, the toilet design does not allow for manual flushing. Cline students have been given access to the bathrooms in the Rotary lobby while we explore options.

I know that there have been concerns about communication. In addition to Dean Miller’s memo, you should have received a daily update from Dr. Soul. All those communications are also available on the college website. https://www.centenary.edu/directories/offices-services-directory/public-safety/emergency-weather-alerts/. The emergency message system will be used as necessary and there will also be occasional updates on the college social media feeds.

The weather, roads, and water situations are not likely to improve significantly in the next 48 hours and in fact in some ways may get worse with the very cold low temperatures the next two nights. However, we are cautiously optimistic we can maintain the current level of accommodations.

While I know some of you have lived through extended water outages in hurricanes, this is a first for many of us. I am deeply grateful for your continued patience and understanding.

Sincerely,
Christopher Holoman

message from dean of students mark miller - february 18, 2021 - 2:00 pm

It is difficult right now. Many of us off campus have lost heat and power for short or extended periods of time, and no one has sufficient water. I just spoke with Dr. Holoman. His concern was for the students, but as we spoke he shared his own attempts to melt enough snow to fill the toilet tanks; other administrators talked about catching runoff from their roofs (and losing outbuilding roofs as they collapsed from the weight of the snow). The campus luckily still has power and internet, but I know that there is almost no running water. Our heating and cooling systems use recirculated water to heat and cool. The maintenance team has been on campus day and night fixing pipes and taking preventative measures to try to ensure that they continue to operate. Generally our heating system is still functioning as designed, though struggling to keep up with the continued low temperatures and limited water. 2nd floor of James Annex is on a separate water loop from the rest of the building. Annex 2nd floor, the Fitness Center and a couple of academic buildings are not heating properly due to lack of water. We are doing everything we can and are in communication with the city and the district water supervisor. Some of our staff members have been working 24+ hour shifts trying to keep things safe and operational. Some local hospitals have lost all water and heat, so it is a tough time.

Things like bottled water are in very short supply, as you would imagine. We bought out multiple stores and have had bottled water available continually through the RA staff (who are doing amazing and much-appreciated work), though it has been rationed to try to ensure that it is available to everyone and we ask that everyone use it only for drinking and toothbrushing. Some stores are rationing supplies, too, so will only sell once case per customer even if they have water in stock. As of this morning, we had 8 cases of water left. We just located 5 more cases and are transporting them back to campus now. We also located supplies of feminine hygiene products and a small number of wipes, and should have them in the RA closets and available if needed by later today. Basic first aid supplies, including over-the-counter pain relief, and things like toilet paper and trash bags continue to be available through residential staff. We have the same challenges and risks when driving and trying to obtain supplies that everyone else does, but if there are other emergencies or necessities please notify your RA or let me know.

Dining Services has been doing an amazing job considering the difficult circumstances. Volunteers from other departments have been providing transportation to get some essential staff members to campus, and we have provided rooms for some staff to sleep on or around campus so that they can continue to work without risking the drive back and forth. Because food deliveries aren’t coming, the chefs have scoured local grocery stores to find and purchase food to keep everything going. They are using disposable servicewear where possible, and boiling snow to get water for cleaning. Dining Services has drinks available and they have been giving out supplementary bags of breakfast and other food items for the times when they are not open.

I am also heartened by the stories I’ve heard of students helping and supporting each other – sharing supplies they purchased after walking to Brookshires or Super1, helping our facilities crews to clear ice from stairs, and sharing tips (like filling toilet tanks with snow before bedtime so that will can flush in the morning, using trashcans to catch runoff or melt snow, and where supplies or gasoline can still be purchased). I’m also extremely grateful for the work of the RAs and to the Student Government Association for sharing feedback on student needs and advising me on what we can do to better support students right now.

It will likely still be a few days before things return to normal, but as temperatures rise tomorrow and repairs to city waterlines continue we will get back to normalcy soon. I know that this is a difficult and stressful time. If there is anything else you need, don’t hesitate to contact me or the residence life or DPS staff.

an update from provost karen soul - February 16, 2021 - 9:54 pm

Dear Centenary Community,

I hope that you have been able to enjoy the snow yesterday and today – campus is looking especially beautiful and we are grateful to have retained power thus far. We are aware, however, of issues with water pressure on campus and in the city of Shreveport as a whole, and want to share some important information with you as we prepare for the next round of winter weather.

  • Due to multiple water main breaks and low water pressure throughout the system, the City of Shreveport has issued a system-wide boil advisory, effective immediately. It is recommended that water be disinfected before consuming it, making ice, brushing teeth, using it for food preparation, or rinsing food. To disinfect, boil water for one full minute in a clean container. The one-minute mark starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil. The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking the water in a clean bottle or pouring it from one clean container to another.
  • The RA on duty will have access to a supply of bottled water for drinking and tooth brushing. Please check in with your RA if you need some water.
  • The City of Shreveport is asking all citizens to take any possible measures to conserve water, including delaying activities such as doing laundry and washing dishes. The city is working hard to increase pressure in the system and is prioritizing hospitals.
  • Letting bathroom faucets drip may help prevent pipes from freezing.

We encourage you to take these precautions and steps to conserve water, but we are also hopeful that these measures will not be necessary for a long period of time. We know that the City of Shreveport is working diligently to address the water issues and that many others are working in our region to keep everyone safe and secure. Thank you all for your patience as we navigate this unusual weather event.

Update sent from Provost Karen Soul - February 12, 2021 1:56 PM

Dear Centenary students, faculty, and staff,

I imagine that many of you have been watching the weather forecast for the upcoming weekend and early part of next week with some interest. The current predictions call for significant winter precipitation, including ice, and very low temperatures beginning Sunday evening and extending in some form through Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

While predictions can certainly change, please be prepared for the following consequences of winter weather:

  • Hazardous road travel conditions, especially when ice is present
  • Dangerously cold temperatures
  • Power and water outages
  • Icy sidewalks and stairs in outdoor areas on campus

Centenary is preparing for the weather to the best of its ability. We have, for example, checked to make sure there are no current obstructions near the power lines coming into campus. Please be aware that some of these consequences – namely interruptions to city utilities such as power and water – are sometimes beyond the College’s control. If outages do not affect the entire campus, we will attempt to make facilities that do have power and/or water available to students.

If you choose to leave campus for the weekend, please exercise good judgement and caution. DPS will offer a special edition of “Check Your Ride” today (Friday), so you can stop by and be sure that your vehicle is in good shape for winter driving.

Please continue to watch Centenary social media, your email, and www.centenary.edu/updates for announcements of any closings or changes to the academic schedule. No changes have been announced at this time.

We appreciate your patience as we approach the uncertain weather situation this weekend and early next week.

Sincerely,

Karen
