Generative Poetry Workshop

Meadows Museum of Art | Main Art Gallery
Join us for a free poetry writing workshop! Richie Hofmann, this year's winner of the J.W. Corrington Award for Literary Excellence, will lead a generative poetry workshop in the Meadows Museum. Participants will read poems together, then draft poems inspired by their reading. No prior experience necessary. All are welcome. Richie Hofmann is the recipient of a 2025 Guggenheim Fellowship and a 2025 Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He is the author of three books of poetry, The Bronze Arms, A Hundred Lovers, and Second Empire. He has taught poetry writing at all levels online and in person at the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, Stanford University, and the University of Chicago.
