Centenary's annual Beast Feast is a unique, festival-style culinary fundraising event featuring wild game, seafood, and other "off the menu" items prepared by local backyard chefs and popular restaurateurs. The last event took place in 2019 before COVID forced the event to be canceled in 2020. In 2021, Beast Feast Express was introduced as a COVID-friendly way of keeping the tradition going until it could return this year. After a two-year hiatus, Beast Feast: Surf, Turf, & More! made a comeback on April 30 and has its patrons already gearing up for next year!

“We are always looking for ways to improve and grow this event. Our cook teams continue to surprise us, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next year!,” said Katie Chopin, Director of Alumni and Family Relations.
Thanks to all of our Beast Feast 2022: Surf, Turf, & More! signature cook teams, and a big congratulations to the 2022 Best of Beast Feast winner, Niema Longstratt and Matthew DiGrazia of RNL’s Authentics for their Caribbean Seafood Pasta. Marilynn’s Place took 2nd place for their Curried Fried Catfish, and Centenary Sodexo came in 3rd for Blackened and Braised Alligator.
