2026 Regional Career Fair to connect students with employers in Gold Dome event on March 19
College students and community members will gather at the Gold Dome on Centenary’s campus for the annual Regional Career Fair on March 19th from 10am-2pm. This event is a collaborative effort by six area colleges and universities in Northwest Louisiana: LSU Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, NW Louisiana Technical Community College, NSU School of Nursing, Southern University Shreveport, and Centenary College.
The Career Fair serves as a vital bridge connecting students with upwards of 100 employers and recruiters. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore internships, full-time and part-time employment, as well as graduate school options. The event emphasizes regional unity and the importance of community support in fostering career success for students and alumni alike.
“The 2026 Regional Career Fair is a bridge to opportunity,” said Debbie Bury, Centenary’s Director of Career Development and Internships. “This event empowers students to explore diverse career paths, connect with leading employers, and develop the skills needed for success after graduation. By bringing together hundreds of students, top organizations, and community partners, it helps students discover their potential, build relationships with employers who believe in their future, and take bold steps toward meaningful careers. At the same time, it unites businesses and community partners in a shared mission to strengthen our region and create lasting opportunities.”
Students are encouraged to pre-register at Centenary.edu/CareerFair using their Handshake accounts. Also, there is still time for interested employers and recruiters to join the Career Fair. They should use their Handshake logins to reserve space.
