Centenary College Fall 2019 Open House is October 19

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary will welcome prospective students to campus during the Office of Admission’s fall Open House on Saturday, October 19. The Open House program begins at 9:00 a.m. with breakfast in the College’s Whited Room in Bynum Commons.

“At Centenary, we try to make all of our events as interactional and intimate as possible,” says Trey Davis, a 2017 Centenary graduate and current admission counselor. “Students not only get the chance to tour campus and learn more about Centenary, they also get to meet professors and current students. Prospective students also get the chance to meet and make friends with each other.”

After the opening breakfast, prospective students and families will take an interactive tour of Centenary's beautiful 65-acre campus in Shreveport’s Highland neighborhood followed by information sessions covering admission and financial aid. The day will conclude with lunch and an Academic Browse where visitors can ask Centenary professors and students questions about their specific areas of interest.

“Open houses are an amazing opportunity for both Centenary and the prospective students,” says Meg Hamilton, a junior Student Ambassador originally from Houston, Texas. “I love showing off my school and everything it has to offer, and open houses are perfect for that!”

Students interested in attending the Open House can register online at centenary.edu/openhouse. For more information, contact the Office of Admission at 800.234.4448 or 318.869.5131.
