Centenary College to remain closed, Tuesday, January 27 for winter weather
Dr. Karen Soul, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, sent the following email to students, faculty, and staff. Students, faculty, and staff can send any snow day photos to marketing@centenary.edu.
Message from Dr. Karen Soul
Due to the continued freezing temperatures and ice, the Centenary campus will remain closed through tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. Classes may be held virtually at the discretion of the instructor. Please check your email and Canvas for announcements from your instructors.
Campus food service in the Café will remain open according to the schedule below:
- Today, Monday, January 26
Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; dinner bags available for pick up during this time
NO dinner meal in the cafe - Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27
Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; dinner bags available for pick up during this time
NO dinner meal in the café - Wednesday, January 28: Regular operations resume (watch for any necessary changes by email)
Magale Library, the Fitness Center, the SUB desk, Randle’s, and all academic buildings will remain closed through Tuesday. Key card access to these buildings will not be available while the campus is closed.
Please monitor changing weather and travel conditions and be cautious when walking around campus over the next few days as surfaces continue to thaw and re-freeze. In addition, please watch for snow or ice sliding from rooftops.
