Centenary continues national career mobility survey for alumni

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary is continuing a partnership launched in 2021 with the Career Leadership Collective, a higher education solutions group, to conduct a national online survey to collect career pathway data from alumni. The College’s third cycle of the National Alumni Career Mobility Survey (NACM) will be open from October 19, 2023, through December 15, 2023, seeking career satisfaction and insights from college and university alumni who completed their degree in calendar years 2013 and 2018.

“As an alumna and the head coach for the Ladies Gymnastics team actively recruiting potential students to Centenary, the impacts of this survey are exciting!” said Meg Crowley ’13. “I am looking forward to being able to provide insight on my path after college and learn from other fellow alumni. The results of this survey allow us, as alumni, to continue to give back to the college, so we can better support the future students of Centenary.”

The data collected by this survey will be used to help Centenary better understand graduates’ professional pathways and prepare future alumni for continued and improved career success. In the 2022 survey conducted with alumni who graduated in 2012 and 2017, 83% of students reported receiving helpful career advice at Centenary, a figure that is higher than both peer institutions and the national average. In particular, Centenary graduates cited faculty as some of the most helpful career advisors during their undergraduate experience at the College.

Students who graduated in 2013 and 2018 will be contacted via email with a link to the online survey.
