Centenary graduate named one of the top 100 interns nationwide

Centenary College of Louisiana graduate Connor Fisk has been named one of the Top 100 interns nationwide at Northwestern Mutual, placing him among the top performers out of approximately 3,500 interns across the country.

Fisk, a 2025 graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Centenary College of Louisiana, began interning with Northwestern Mutual in 2025. Following an exceptional internship marked by dedication, strong performance, and leadership potential, he has accepted a full-time position as a Financial Planner with Northwestern Mutual – North Louisiana.

As a result of his Top 100 recognition, Fisk has been invited to attend the company’s Top College Financial Representative Summit in Tucson, Arizona, where he will participate in advanced professional development, networking, and national recognition events.

“Connor’s passion for growth and his relentless curiosity are hallmark traits of the top advisors across the country,” said Jeremy Deramus, Managing Director at Northwestern Mutual – North Louisiana. “He’s a light in our firm, and he continues to lead by example. You couldn’t ask for a better ambassador for what Centenary is all about.”

Northwestern Mutual recognizes approximately 3,500 interns annually, with only 100 earning this distinction. The honor reflects outstanding performance, client service, and leadership throughout the internship program.

Company representatives credit Fisk’s academic preparation and mentorship at Centenary as instrumental in his success. His achievement highlights the strength of Centenary’s Frost School of Business in preparing students for competitive, nationally recognized careers.
