The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) leads students in integrated learning opportunities by guiding them through intentional reflection on cultures different than their own, service to their local and global communities, and diverse perspectives that enhance their view of the complex and ever-changing world around us.
The Office of Global Engagement is part of the Division of Student Development.
Community Engagement integrates service to the greater community with classroom instruction, connection to academic content, and personal reflection. Community Engagement supports a number of program for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other Centenary community members to become engaged with service efforts throughout the local and global community.
Intercultural Engagement promotes and encourages the exploration and appreciation of different cultures on our campus and around the globe. Intercultural Engagement also administers exchange programs for faculty and students between the College's many exchange partners.
Centenary College of Louisiana values human diversity in all its richly complex and multifaceted forms, whether expressed through race and ethnicity, culture, political and social views, religious and spiritual beliefs, language and geographic characteristics, gender, gender identities and sexual orientations, learning and physical abilities, age, and social and economic classes. The Office of Global Engagement partners with the Diversity Committee to educate our students through programming about issues of diversity and multiculturalism.
