We are open and eager to serve the Centenary community.

Most of our materials can be accessed by members of the Centenary community (students, staff, and faculty) online within the electronic catalog and subscription databases.

You will need to log in if you are not on campus. Contact Patrick Morgan (pmorgan@centenary.edu, 318-869-5171) or hit up the chat box if you need help.

Procedures for checking stuff out:

  1. Find it via the electronic catalog: you can search our collection by keyword and more.
  2. When viewing a needed item record in the catalog, you don't even need to wirte down the call number! simply click on the RED “Text This To Me” button at the right of the record. You will then be asked to enter your cell number and carrier, then click the RED “Text it to me” button. You will receive a completed “MSG: (title) by author.”
  3. If you haven't checked out a book before, stop by the circulation desk so we can create an account for you.
  4. Questions? Chat with us, or contact us via telephone. You can reach out to Patrick, or, if you prefer, call the circulation desk at (318)869-5047 or the information desk at (318) 869-5058 to speak to a staff member about your item needs. If no answer, please leave a detailed message describing your material needs.

All items can be returned by the outside book drop or during library open hours at the circulation desk.
Library staff will continue to provide reference and research assistance remotely by phone (318) 869-5058, or email pmorgan@centenary.edu to faculty and students at any time. If you are looking for a particular staff member, please consult the “Contact Us” web page on Magale’s main website page.
