Centenary College announces February 26 as annual Giving Day
Centenary College’s annual Giving Day will be Thursday, February 26, in conjunction with the Founders’ Day. The 24-hour fundraising initiative aims to raise $200,000 to support key campus priorities and student opportunities.
This year’s Giving Day is strengthened by a generous $50,000 matching gift, doubling the impact of contributions made throughout the day.
Alumni, parents, friends, and community members are encouraged to participate through early giving, which is now open. A gift of $25 or more will secure a limited-edition Centenary beanie hat while supplies last. On Giving Day, a special Power Hour from 7:00–8:00 a.m. will offer an additional incentive: donors who give $50 or more during that hour will receive a commemorative Centenary tea towel set.
Supporters may designate their gifts to a variety of campus initiatives including the C Club for athletics, The Dr. Brad and Kay McPherson Biology Chair, an elevator for the Hurley School of Music building; the International Choir Travel Fund, and renovations for Mickle Hall. Donors may also choose “area of greatest need.”
Giving Day reflects Centenary’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, campus improvements, and transformative student experiences made possible through philanthropic support.
