Moving Forward, Giving Back

Give Online!

Centenary Giving Day is now held in conjunction with Centenary's annual Founders' Day celebration. You can be a part of Centenary Giving Day by giving online, joining us for the annual Founders' Day Convocation at 11:10 AM in Brown Chapel, or you can come back to campus for a tailgate before the Gent's basketball game! Take part in all of the fun that afternoon! There will be a tailgate with food trucks, free giveaways and a cash bar starting at 6:00 PM leading up to the Gent's basketball game. We will have a basketball alumni recognition and other fun things happening throughout the game, or you can participate in the Giving Day Basketball Challenge.

Give Your Year

You can help ensure Centenary is Moving Forward by Giving Back, and give your year!

For example, if you are a Centenary alumnus that graduated in 1995, you could give $19.95, $95, $199.50, or choose your own amount! Challenge fellow classmates to match your gift to maximize support for our Ladies and Gents.

Not an alumnus? No problem! Participate in the fun as a friend of the College. You can give in honor of the year you became acquainted with Centenary, your age, or the year someone close to you graduated. The possibilities are endless!

Giving Day Basketball Challenge

To participate in the basketball challenge, simply choose a statistical category to make a pledge! For example, if you pledge one dollar for every point the team scores and at the end of the game the team scores 87 points, you will receive a pledge via email for $87. All proceeds raised from the challenge will go to the Centenary Annual Fund to benefit student scholarships.

The statistical categories you can choose from are:

  • per point for the team final score
  • total team rebounds
  • total team assists
  • forced turnovers
  • every 3 point shot made

Every participant that signs up by 7:45 PM for the basketball game on February 9, will be entered into a drawing to receive a signed jersey from Centenary alumnus, Travion Kirkendoll '18, of the Harlem Globetrotters. The winner will be announced during halftime. If you would like to participate you can CLICK HERE.
